Wildomar McDonald's Grand Opening This Weekend

The first 100 guests will receive a free Big Mac or cone. Saturday events include a petting zoo and family fun. See all that's planned.

WILDOMAR, CA — Wildomar is gathering on Friday to celebrate the grand opening of the county's newest McDonald’s. A ribbon-cutting ceremony with local elected officials and McDonald’s leadership, along with family-friendly activities to mark the occasion.

The celebration is planned for both Friday and Saturday. On Friday, from 12 to 3 p.m. at McDonald’s, 22193 Bundy Canyon Road, Wildomar, come for the ribbon cutting. The first 100 guests will receive a free Big Mac or cone.

On Saturday, guests will enjoy a DJ, local radio, and family fun.

"To celebrate, the first day will feature a high school band performance from Elsinore High School Jazz band, a ribbon-cutting ceremony, visits by the local Firefighters and Sheriff’s departments, a photo booth, and a special visit from Grimace and Hamburglar."

On Saturday, the fun continues on day two with a live DJ from local radio station Q103.3, face painting, a magic show, a petting zoo, and exciting raffle prizes.

"As a dedicated local small business owner, Owner/Operator Mat Ajayi and his restaurant teams do more than serve great meals; they proudly support and give back to the community they call home," a spokesperson for the restaurant chain said.

Wildomar's Mayor Carlos Marquez will be on hand for the ceremony, and John Cronan, McDonald’s Vice President of Field Operations, will also be present. Ajayi will operate three McDonald's restaurants in the Inland Empire.
