The City of Wildomar has been awarded a $45,000 grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety (OTS) for preparing a "Traffic Collision Database Analysis and Mapping System."
According to a news release from the city, the system will help the city identify high frequency accident locations and patterns. That data will allow the city to study the problem spots and determine the best course of action.
“The city greatly appreciates assistance from OTS as we strive to enhance traffic safety for our citizens and visitors,” Wildomar Mayor Tim Walker said in a released statement.
