Woman Struck, Killed On 15 Freeway In Lake Elsinore
The fatality occurred just south of Nichols Road.
LAKE ELSINORE, CA — A woman was struck and killed Sunday on the 15 Freeway in Lake Elsinore.
The crash happened about 5:40 p.m. on the northbound 15, just south of Nichols Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
It appears the woman was walking along the side of the freeway when she was hit, the CHP reported. The woman died at the scene. Her name was withheld pending notification of next of kin.
