• Vietnam War Pilot, 81, Critically Injured In Crash With Teen On E-Motorcycle In OC (patch.com) — Lake Forest residents are rallying around 81-year-old Vietnam War veteran and former El Toro High School teacher Ed Ashman, who remains in critical condition after being struck while walking near Toledo Way and Ridge Route Drive. Authorities say a 14-year-old on an off-highway motorcycle, banned from public roads, hit Ashman and fled before later being arrested on suspicion of hit-and-run and reckless driving, prompting a community GoFundMe effort for the family.
