Decades-Old South OC Restaurant Closes Doors: Report

IRVINE, CA — Another restaurant near John Wayne Airport is shutting down.

Following Gulliver's announcing its upcoming closure after almost six decades, neighboring El Torito has closed after several decades on MacArthur Boulevard, The Orange County Register reported.

The restaurant's last day of service was May 30, according to the report.

The restaurant opened during the '80s, according to its website, after the restaurant chain took over the former Casa Maria space.
