2nd Victim In Fiery McLaren Crash With Auto Influencer ID'd As Hooters Calendar Girl

IRVINE, CA — A second victim involved in a fatal McLaren crash in Orange County was identified by family members Tuesday, The New York Post reported.

The second victim was identified as 22-year-old Alexis "Lexi" Kramer, a self-described Hooter's calendar model, of Lakeland, Florida.

Kramer was killed in the high-speed crash early Sunday morning in Irvine alongside 27-year-old James Wehr, a car influencer and co-founder of South OC Cars and Coffee, according to police.

The crash happened at around 12:20 a.m., when a 2019 McLaren heading north on Deerfield Avenue near Culver Drive at a high rate of speed struck a tree, split in half, and burst into flames, according to the Irvine Police Department.

Firefighters doused the flames and found both occupants inside the car dead.

According to the New York Post, Kramer had flown out from her Florida home on Friday to meet Wehr, whom she had been exchanging messages with on social media.

According to The Post, the duo spent the weekend together after meeting on Instagram a month earlier.

"He talked to her every day all the time and finally got her to fly out to California to come see him," a family member told The New York Post. "She loved the car community, so it's such a tragedy that that's what ended her."

It was not immediately clear who was behind the wheel of the McLaren when it crashed.

Community members grieved the loss of Wehr, who made waves in the Orange County community by co-founding South OC Cars and Coffee — an event billed as "the world's largest weekly car show."

"South OC Cars and Coffee family. Unfortunately, we have some really heavy news to share with you all. This morning, just after midnight, we lost our darling son and brother James, in a motor accident," the car club wrote on Instagram. "We respectfully ask for privacy as a family, as we process this profound loss."

Wehr's wife, Emma Wehr, took to Instagram to issue an emotional tribute to her late husband.

"I never thought the day would come that I'd have to say such a final goodbye," she wrote on Instagram. "Getting the opportunity to love you will always be the greatest blessing in my life."
