$3.2M Powerball Ticket Sold In La Mesa

LA MESA, CA — A Powerball ticket with five numbers, but missing the Powerball number, was sold at a convenience store in La Mesa, the California Lottery announced.

The ticket worth $3,202,599 was purchased at the 7-Eleven at 5746 Amaya Drive.

The numbers drawn Monday night were 15, 20, 33, 36, 43 and the Powerball number was 12. The jackpot was $97 million. There were no tickets sold with all six numbers.

Drawings take place every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. The estimated jackpot is $109 million for Wednesday's drawing.

The odds of matching all five numbers and the Powerball number is 1 in about 293 million, according to the Multi-State Lottery Association, which conducts the game. Powerball is played in 45 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and U.S. Virgin Islands.
