A 7-Eleven convenience store will be opening in La Mesa at the corner of 70th Street and University Avenue. A banner has been installed at the storefront of 7006 University Ave. announcing the shop is "Coming Soon".
The storefront was previously occupied by Play It Again Sports, a new and used sports equipment store whose sole location in the county is now Pacific Beach.
This new store will join seven other 7-Eleven stores in La Mesa. An opening date hasn't been announced.
