Abandoned Building In East County Damaged by Fire
Heartland Fire and Rescue was investigating to find the cause of the fire.
LEMON GROVE, CA — An abandoned building was damaged Tuesday by fire, according to Heartland Fire and Rescue.
The blaze was reported at 1:17 a.m. Tuesday at 3274 Main St. and was extinguished at 2:11 a.m., said Public Information Officer Andy McKellar of HFR.
The building was near the San Diego County Sheriff's Department sub-station and City Hall, the officer said.

Neighbors reported to dispatchers they heard multiple explosions, according to 1904 News video service.
Three other fire departments were called to the scene when a second alarm was called, McKellar said.
