Austin Odom Goes Yard Again While Leading the Yankees

La Mesa National Little League game saw Majors Division powerhouse Phillies beaten 3-2.

Yankees third baseman Austin Odom, one of the leading home run hitters in the La Mesa National Little League Major division, hit the long ball again Wednesday evening to help his team to a 3-2 victory over the Phillies.

Played at Kulken Field across the street from the La Mesa Community Center, the Yankees beat the second-place Phillies in a game that was tied for several innings. Odom added another run in the sixth inning. Enthusiastic parents on both sides cheered and encouraged the teams under warm, sunny conditions. The La Mesa National Little League  season ends May 18 for Caps, May 19 for Majors and May 17 for Minors with T-Ball ending May 21.
