All Day Rehearse-A-Thon to Raise Money for Helix Highlander Band

The Helix Highlander Band is holding an all day Rehearse-A-Thon on Saturday, September 15th to raise money for the Music Program at Helix Charter High School.

The Helix Instrumental Music Program has a long history of excellence.  In past years, our students have competed against the best schools in California and taken home numerous awards.  They have proudly marched in the Tournament of Roses Parade, down Main Street USA at Disneyland, and at many holiday parades and observances.

This year, the band, colorguard and bagpipes at Helix Charter High School are preparing an amazing field show, Carmen, and a competitive parade routine for all of our home football halftime shows and 4 to 5 regional marching competitions.  For extra fine-tuning of their show, they are scheduled for a 12-hour Rehearse-A-Thon on Saturday, September 15th, 2012 from 9 AM to 9 PM.

Due to state budget restrictions, the school is unable to provide all the funds necessary for the Music Program.  We hope to count on your support in our efforts to maintain a successful program.
