Howling for Howlistic

If you have pets, you've been there: one of your animals is not acting normal, seems sick. A vet bill can be imposing, especially in this economy. Yet you want to do all you can for your pets.

Well, I was in that situation with my 12 year old normally fiesty long haired, black and white Chihuahua "Sampson". Something was not right. He was picking the fur from his paws. His ears were swelling. Lethargic.  Not eating. Not acting his normal "ruler of universe" Chihuahua self.

So, I dropped in on the newly opened Howlistic pet store and expressed my concern. The owner said: "sounds like a food allergy".  And that made sense as i had recently changed to another natural organic dog food. So, i went back to feeding Sam the Natural Blend dog food he was use to.

Well, fast forward two weeks and Sampson is back walking on his front paws doing handstands as he urninates (yep) - back to his normal "I'm a Great Dane, but really a Chihuahua" self.
