Kempton Students Enjoy Seasons Greetings and Christmas Cheer
Kempton Elementary students enjoy holiday crafts and a visit from Santa.
On a recent Thursday evening, the Kempton Elementary PTA hosted a family holiday craft carnival in the school's auditorium. Large numbers of local students and their families enjoyed various craft tables, a “book walk”, and even a special visit from Santa himself. Parent and school staff volunteers, including Principal Elisa Holston, helped supervise the craft stations and were happy to work with the children on their projects. Kempton PTA President Christina Hicks said “This is a special time for the children to bring their parents to school and make some fun holiday crafts together”. As for Santa, he noted that the top Christmas requests were for dogs, cats, and video games.
