Record Numbers Sign Up for Summer Reading
The library has been the place to be this summer with daily programs for kids, free lunches and a reading club.
has seen many kids from the neighborhood this summer. Many of them have signed up for Summer Reading for the first time. Others have taken part in our daily programs and our free lunch program. Whatever it is, we've seen increased traffic in the library and increased program participation and we couldn't be happier. As one mom said, "This is my first summer home with the kids, and we have all been pleasantly surprised with the library."
As the summer winds down, don't forget about the Wildlife Company Animal Show on Thursday, August 4 at 10:30 a.m. or the Bluegrass Band, PLOW, on Saturday, August 6 at 2 p.m. And don't forget to turn in your reading logs. We have many prizes to give out this year.
