
Construction activity in La Mesa, Mt. Helix, and Spring Valley enjoyed a big increase this week. Building permit activity jumped from 28 permits (for the week ending November 4) to 39 for the week of November 11. This translates to a 39-percent increase.
As compared to the previous week, notable increases were seen in the following sectors:
- Residential Remodeling; +150-percent (5, up from 2)
- Pool & Spa Construction; +100-percent (1, up from 0)
- Solar Energy; +100-percent (2, up from 1)
- Commercial Tenant Improvements; +200-percent (6, up from 2)
- Deck & Patio Construction; +100-percent (1, up from 0)
- Heating, Ventillation, A/C; +200-percent (9 up from 3)
- Roofing; steady with one project
