Youth basketball camp being offered at Cuyamaca College this summer

Basketball camps for youths in grades 4 through 9 are being offered this summer at Cuyamaca College.

Youth basketball camps are being offered at Cuyacama College this summer. Each camp runs from 9 a.m. to noon and costs $79, which includes a T-shirt and evaluation.

Camp 1, for 7th through 9th graders, will run July 9-12. Camp 2, for 4th through 6th graders, will run July 16-19. Camp 3, also for 4th through 6th graders, will run from August 6-9.

Basketball camp is sponsored by the basketball office at Cuyamaca College and is directed by Rob Wotjkowski, head basketball coach at Cuyamaca College. The camps will provide a wholesome atmosphere in which each youngster receives expert instruction in basketball activity as well as individual character development. The camps are carefully designed to inspire self-confidence through acheivement. The camps will motivate youngsters to improve their talent and abilities.

Areas covered include ball handling, dribbling moves, shooting drills, 3-3 competition, team games and shooting games.
