Brush Fire Breaks Out Near Lake Murray
The fire was first reported around 4:20 p.m., according to the CHP.

SAN DIEGO, CA – Fire crews battled a roughly 1-acre brush fire near Lake Murray in eastern San Diego Tuesday afternoon.
The blaze broke out near Interstate 8 and Lake Murray Boulevard in Del Cerro, according to the California Highway Patrol and San Diego Fire-Rescue Department.
The fire was first reported around 4:20 p.m., according to officials. Within less than an hour, crews had stopped the flames.

There were no reports of structural damage or injuries, fire officials said.
