Brush Fire Sparks Along I-8 In El Cajon
Firefighters worked to extinguish a brush fire Tuesday afternoon alongside Interstate 8 in El Cajon.
EL CAJON, CA — Firefighters worked to extinguish a brush fire Tuesday afternoon alongside Interstate 8 in El Cajon.
The blaze sparked shortly before 2:30 p.m. off eastbound I-8, near West Main Street, according to the California Highway Patrol.
There were no lane closures, but the eastbound I-8 West Main Street on- and off-ramps were shut down, according to Caltrans.
