Combat High Electricity Rates and Go Solar | Attend Seminar to Learn More

This summer, many La Mesa residents have noticed a jump in their electric bills from running the AC during the hot summer days. However, it’s not just the increased electrical usage that’s causing a higher bill. On September 1st, San Diego Gas and Electric’s rate increase was applied. Customers of SDG&E will see a rate increase anywhere between 12 and 39 percent! The percent of increase is dependent upon where you reside and how much energy your household consumes. On average, La Mesa residents pay $220 a month for electricity. Residents will now be looking at a bill of about $268 for that same power usage. Fortunately, solar power is a great financial alternative to paying high utility rates. Solar producers can save money on their monthly electric bills, reap the benefits of the federal tax credit, and get paid to go solar through the Sullivan Cash Reward community program.

In order to support the local community in declaring energy independence, Sullivan Solar Power is hosting a Solar Luncheon on Saturday, September 21st from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm in the La Mesa Community Center (4975 Memorial Dr.). This free one hour educational presentation will cover solar technology, how to determine if solar is right for your home, rebates and incentives, and a local case study. Lunch will be provided.

La Mesa residents are encouraged to stop by, have their questions answered by industry experts and learn the benefits of going solar at their home. For more information call 1-800-SULLIVAN or visit www.SullivanSolarPower.com
