Construction To Begin On $18 Million Upscale East County Hotel
The new Courtyard by Marriott will feature 120 rooms, a spa, banquet facilities, outdoor dining and 2,000 square feet of commercial space.
EL CAJON, CA -- The city of El Cajon announced today that construction will begin next week on an $18 million Courtyard by Marriott hotel in the downtown area.
The 120-room lodging house will be the East County municipality's first upscale hotel when it opens next year, and is expected to provide a major economic boost for the region.
The 70,000-square-foot hotel will be located near the traditional heart of the city on Magnolia Avenue, close to Main Street.
