Eucalyptus Park in Spring Valley a Hidden Treasure

The park is quietly tucked away on Bancroft Avenue, just north of SR-94.

Eucalyptus Park is located in Spring Valley just off SR-94, north of Campo Road on Edgewood Drive. It rests on wonderful slope and features large grassy areas. A wooden bridge leads you to the park where there are several picnic tables under eucalyptus trees.Β  Β Β

The park is not very large at only six acres, but it has a lot to offer with bathrooms, a seasonal stream, horseshoe pits, and built in BBQ’s.Β

On weekends if you want to get one of the prime locations, you better get there early!Β  One gentleman informed me that he had gotten there at 4:30 a.m. to get the pavilion for his grandson’s baby shower.Β

Another picnicker said he was too late at 6:30 a.m. to get the spot he wanted for his party, but gladly settled on another spot in the park by the play structure.

As summer is here, take some time to enjoy the outdoors at this hidden gem in Spring Valley.
