
After what seemed like FOREVER, we finally got our fingerprinting appointment on May 11th (early birthday present to me?) . So we traveled to Chula Vista to the USCIS office on May 21st. We were the only white people there. We got many strange looks wondering why on earth we were applying for US Visas.
Just two weeks later, we received our 17h form from USCIS. This form says we are officially able to bring in a child or children into the United States! Wooohooo!! This is the last thing needed to send off our dossier.Exciting day!!
We couldn't take any pictures near the USCIS office, we couldn't even have our cell phones ON in the room. So, to avoid getting arrested, we took a picture of us with the 17h when it arrived.
