Four Arrested During Raid of Illegal Marijuana Dispensary in Nearby Spring Valley: Cops

Authorities raided an allegedly illegal Spring Valley marijuana dispensary.

SPRING VALLEY, CA - Authorities raided an allegedly illegal Spring Valley marijuana dispensary Thursday, seizing cannabis and related products and arresting four people.

Deputies served a search warrant at Empire Collective SD, 8622 Troy St., Thursday morning, according to sheriff's Lt. Thomas Seiver.

"In the dispensary, detectives discovered evidence of marijuana sales and an unlawfully operating dispensary," Seiver said. "An indoor marijuana grow (facility) was discovered at a second building on the same property, and 300 plants were seized."

Authorities subsequently obtained another warrant to search a home on the property. Inside, detectives seized "a large amount" of marijuana, cannabis-infused edible products, cash and paraphernalia, the lieutenant said.

The suspects' names were not released.
