I went to Lowe's this morning in Mission Valley(Weds July 16, 2014). The lady that helped me stated that her mom lives in La Mesa. She said that Grossmont Center will close down in 5-7 years and Condos would be built in its place! I have searched the web and cannot find any evidence of this. Does anyone know of plans that are being kept on the 'downlow'???!!! I just came from Grossmont Center, looked at the packed parking lot, stores, restaurants, Regal, banks etc. and thought, "What would we do if all this wasn't here??" Would love feedback. I hope this is just a false, horrific rumor.
