-- Two-day Live-Fire Class for experienced pistol users, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, March 20 and 21 at Academi Southwest, cost to attend is $450 per person.

The self-protection webinar, presented by Correia, will feature self-defense lessons based on 35,000 gun encounters involving private citizens.

“Intro to the Armed Lifestyle” is designed for new gun owners who need practical instruction on how to make guns as part of a daily lifestyle.

The two-day, live-fire training class is for proficient gun owners desiring to improve their shooting ability. Entrants should be familiar with pistol operation and safety.

“Our goal with our training is to keep the bad people from hurting the good and keeping families safe,” Correia said in a recent interview on Gun Owners Radio. “We all want our communities to be safe and to live our lives in liberty and peace without fear.”

Supporters of Cover Your ASP Week events also can purchase raffle tickets priced at $25 per ticket. Proceeds from the raffle will help cover the fee for a law enforcement officer from a San Diego-area agency to attend the two-day, life-fire training class at no cost. Also, one raffle prize winner will be awarded the grand prize consisting of a Glock pistol from the GlockStore.

“Even if you can’t attend the webinar or gun training classes or the social event, we’re inviting the public to purchase a raffle ticket to help us with the law enforcement training scholarship,” said Rich Yumul, producer, Gun Owners Radio. “Many local law enforcement officers serve in smaller agencies with smaller training budgets and might not have the opportunity to train with a world-class trainer like John Correia. Whether or not you love enforcement, anyone can back the blue and help an officer receive more training.”
