Heartland Fire And Rescue To Host Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser

Heartland Fire and Rescue serves the cities of El Cajon, La Mesa and Lemon Grove.

LA MESA, CA — Community members are invited to join the Heartland firefighters of La Mesa for breakfast.

Heartland Fire and Rescue, which serves the cities of El Cajon, La Mesa and Lemon Grove, will host the 14th annual Pancake Breakfast June 10 in La Mesa. Funds from the event will benefit the Heartland Fire Explorers Program.

Breakfast will include pancakes, eggs, sausage, coffee and orange juice, according to the department.

This year's event will also feature emergency preparedness training. There will be training stations where attendees can learn tips on basic first aid, CPR and crime prevention.

Tickets cost $5 and can be purchased at the door the day of the event.

The event will take place from 8 a.m. to noon at Fire Station 11 at 8034 Allison Ave. in La Mesa.
