Am I the only one that has noticed an increase in La Mesa? It seams like I can't go anywhere around here without someone asking for change. The sad part is that they are young men & women panhandling for drugs. The police seem to turn a blind eye and allow it to continue. I have been accosted in the drivethru at Jack In the Box as well as approched at my table inside McDonalds. I've lived here since '94 and its now out of hand. Why doesn't the La Mesa Police Dept clean the community up??? The last time I checked, panhandling is a crime.
