Hundreds Affected by Power Outage in Spring Valley, Rancho San Diego

SAN DIEGO, CA — About 330 San Diego Gas and Electric customers were without power Friday in the areas of Rancho San Diego, Spring Valley and La Presa, according to the utility.

The lights went out at 7:23 a.m. due to a combination of factors that caused a problem in the electrical system, according to the unplanned outages page on SDG&E's website.

Power was expected to be restored by 2:30 Friday afternoon, the utility reported.
