Jewish Family Services Names Debora Rodriguez as New Chief Advancement Officer
Jewish Family Service (JFS) has named Debora Rodriguez as the organization's new Chief Advancement Officer (CAO).

Jewish Family Service (JFS) has named Debora Rodriguez as the organization’s new Chief Advancement Officer (CAO). Rodriguez assumed the position in September 2014, and is the agency’s first CAO, overseeing fundraising, institutional giving, marketing, and volunteer engagement. DRG-Executive Search Consultants for the Nonprofit Sector conducted the extensive national search.
Rodriguez is returning to San Diego after 20 plus years in Cleveland, where she most recently served as Chief Executive Officer of Recovery Resources. “I am thrilled to be part of an organization that prioritizes mission and impact. These are core attributes of organizations where I’ve been honored to have a leadership role in my career,” Rodriguez said of her new position.
JFS CEO Michael Hopkins described the value and relevancy of Rodriguez’s skills in a time of organizational growth and change: “Deb brings strategic thinking, development savvy, and versatility to JFS at a transformative time for the agency. As we adopt a new strategic plan, develop a new client-centered campus, and commit new resources to measuring and reporting impact, Deb’s wide-reaching expertise and leadership are vital to our continued success.”
