Man Caught Stealing Laptops from Office Depot in La Mesa, Police Say

LA MESA, CA – Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man who allegedly stole several laptop computers from Office Depot in La Mesa.

The La Mesa Police Department released surveillance video Tuesday of the suspect breaking into the closed store on Jan. 5 and stealing several laptop computers.

The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic male, 20 to 40 years old, with a thin build, according to police officials. He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and white shoes during the time of the burglary.

He was also seen wearing a Chargers jersey on surveillance video a day before the burglary, police said.
