Man Fatally Struck On La Mesa Freeway Off-Ramp ID'd
Cesar Duenas, 55, was standing alongside his disabled pickup truck on the exit from westbound state Route 94 to Lemon Grove Avenue when hit.

LA MESA, CA – Authorities released the name Wednesday of a man who was struck and killed by a car on a La Mesa freeway off-ramp.
Cesar Duenas, 55, was standing alongside his disabled pickup truck on the exit from westbound state Route 94 to Lemon Grove Avenue when a 2015 Lexus CT200H crashed into him shortly before 6 p.m. Tuesday, according to the California Highway Patrol and county Medical Examiner's Office.
Duenas died at the scene of the accident.

The driver of the Lexus hatchback, a 40-year-old National City man, was unhurt, CHP Officer Travis Garrow said.
