Man With Gunshot Wound To Foot Shows Up At Hospital: Police
Detectives said they believe the incident occurred near El Cajon Boulevard.

SAN DIEGO, CA – Police Thursday were investigating after a man showed up at a hospital with a gunshot wound to his foot.
Officers were alerted to the shooting when a man, believed to be in his early 40s, arrived at Sharp Memorial Hospital in San Diego around 3:35 a.m. with a gunshot wound to his foot, according to San Diego police Officer Sarah Foster.
Investigators believe the shooting may have happened near the 4700 block of El Cajon Boulevard, Foster said.

The man's injury was not considered life-threatening, she said.
No suspect descriptions were immediately available.

Detectives from the San Diego Police Department's Mid-City division were investigating the shooting.
