UPDATE: La Mesa Man With Alzheimer’s Located

Update at 11:55 a.m. Tuesday: The La Mesa Police Department has located Poman Lee, an 82-year-old man with Alzheimer’s.

LA MESA, CA – The La Mesa Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating a missing La Mesa man.

Police said Poman Lee, an 82-year-old who has Alzheimer’s, walked away from his home located in the 4100 block of Yale Avenue in La Mesa around 11:39 a.m. Monday. He was last seen by a neighbor about 30 minutes later walking westbound on University Avenue. He has not been seen or heard from since, according to police.

Police said Lee only speaks and understands Mandarin Chinese. He does not have any money or a cell phone.
