Mother & Daughter duo bring Blo Blow Dry Bar to La Mesa just in time for the holidays!

Blo Blow Dry Bar announces East County San Diego’s first blowout and beauty bar! Blo La Mesa is hosting its Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting on December 8th, 2015 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at 8806 Grossmont Boulevard, La Mesa, CA 91942. The official Ribbon Cutting is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.

Blo Blow Dry Bar offers a modern twist on traditional hair salons with a “no cuts, no color” concept. The Grand Opening Ribbon Cutting will showcase Blo La Mesa’s hair styling, makeup and manicure services, setting a new benchmark for East County’s beauty scene. At just 21 years old, owner Shelby Wilson invites guests to make themselves feel at home while they get tressed to impress. Blo Guests can choose from a variety of hairstyles from Blo’s signature hair menu, including Holly Would (big, bouncy curls), Pillow Talk (beachy waves), Executive Sweet (sleek and straight) and more. Blo La Mesa will be offering $25 blowouts during its Grand Opening Weekend on December 11th-13th, 2015.

“This has been a dream come true for our family,” explains Wilson, franchise owner of Blo La Mesa and licensed makeup artist, “My mom and I fell in love with the blow dry bar concept and felt passionate about bringing it to our hometown of La Mesa.”

In celebration of its Grand Opening, Blo La Mesa will donate a portion of its proceeds every Wednesday during the month of December 2015 to SPRITES of East County, a mother-daughter based non-profit that supports philanthropic causes in the community and teaches teens the value of volunteering in their community, while building strong relationships with others.
