LA MESA, CA – A motorcyclist escaped serious injuries after a collision with a minivan on Interstate 8 Sunday.
A motorcyclist was reportedly lying in the roadway after the crash on the westbound 8 Freeway near Grossmont Center in La Mesa at about noon, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Passing motorists stopped to move the motorcyclist out of traffic lanes, the CHP said, and one person was taken to a nearby hospital with minor injuries.
