Motorcyclist Killed In I-8 Crash In La Mesa
The motorcyclist, a 72-year-old man from San Diego, was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene.

LA MESA, CA — A motorcyclist was killed last week in a solo crash on Interstate 8 in La Mesa, authorities said Tuesday.
The crash happened at about 8:48 p.m. Friday on I-8, east of Jackson Drive, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The rider of a 2017 Harley Davidson was heading westbound on I-8 when he lost control of the motorcycle and overturned, CHP Officer Jared Grieshaber said. The motorcyclist, a 72-year-old man from San Diego, was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene.

"This is an ongoing investigation, and it appears alcohol or drugs were a factor in this crash," Grieshaber said.
