Movers for Moms Collection Drive

Movers for Moms® is a donation drive collecting needed items and gifts in honor of Mother’s Day. Local moving company TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® will deliver all donations to Becky’s House, a San Diego shelter for abused women and their children. The collection runs now until May 7.

The goal of Movers for Moms® is to make each mother feel special on Mother's Day, especially local mothers in need. Last year we collected more than 5000 donations and our goal this year is to increase the number of collections to 7500.

We are collecting the following items on the Becky's House Wish List.

New or like new:

• Twin size bed sheets
• Twin size comforters and blankets
• Bath towels
• Pillows

• Shampoo/Conditioner
• Face wash/Facial moisturizer
• Lotion
• Shaving cream
• Feminine hygiene products
• Deodorant
• Body wash
• Pump hand soap/hand sanitizer
• Women’s and children’s underwear
• Women’s and children’s socks
• Diapers (especially sizes 4 and 5)
• Baby wipes
• Over-the-counter medications (Tylenol, Aleve, Children’s Cold & Flu, Band-Aids, rubbing alcohol, etc.) 
• Silverware 
• Reusable plastic plates, bowls, cups

"Fun" Items:

• Perfume 
• Lip gloss
• Sunglasses
• Jewelry
