National Night Out Events Slated Tuesday In La Mesa
La Mesa Neighborhood Watch groups have organized events to promote crime prevention and strengthen police and community relationships.
LA MESA, CA — Community members are invited to celebrate National Night Out Tuesday in La Mesa.
National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes law enforcement and community partnership and neighborhood camaraderie. La Mesa Neighborhood Watch groups have organized community events across the city. Scheduled activities include block parties, cookouts and potlucks, according to the city.
La Mesa police will visit all community events that are registered with the department, according to the city. National Night Out is scheduled from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 2 in La Mesa.
