New City of La Mesa Website Unveiled

"We encourage residents and business owners to explore the city of La Mesa's new website," said Mayor Mark Arapostathis.

LA MESA, CA: The city of La Mesa unveiled a revamped website Wednesday that officials say improves navigation and eases access to information for users.

The front page of the website, at CityofLaMesa.us, includes links to City Council agendas and minutes, Recreation Department classes, a parks map and a place to report concerns. Upcoming events and meetings are also listed.

"We encourage residents and business owners to explore the city of La Mesa's new website," said Mayor Mark Arapostathis.

"The site is our latest step in introducing new pathways for people to engage in all that our city has to offer," Arapostathis said. "It's a milestone in our commitment to providing outstanding community service."

The website also includes videos of City Council meetings, and various building and planning permit forms.

In conjunction with the website launch, the city is hosting an online scavenger hunt via its Facebook page -- Facebook.com/lamesaca. A randomly selected winner will receive a $45 gift bag, according to the city.
