Over 2,000 Without Power In La Mesa, Mount Helix
BREAKING: Multiple outages were reported at 2:58 p.m. Wednesday.

LA MESA-MOUNT HELIX, CA – More than 2,000 customers are without power Wednesday in and around La Mesa and Mount Helix, according to San Diego Gas & Electric.
SDG&E is reporting on its outage map that 2,192 customers in and around La Mesa, Mount Helix and El Cajon have no power due to four widespread outages.
All four outages started at 2:58 p.m. SDG&E estimates power should be restored by 5:30 p.m.

The first outage started at 3:03 p.m., affecting 577 customers in La Mesa. The second outage started at 3:18 p.m., affecting 817 customers in La Mesa, Lake Murray, Mission Gorge and Sycamore Canyon. SDG&E does not yet have an estimate of when the power will be restored for either outage.
The cause of the outages is being assessed. No other information is currently available.
