Powerball Ticket With 5 Numbers Sold In San Diego County
The Powerball numbers were drawn Monday evening.

SPRING VALLEY, CA — A Powerball ticket with five numbers, but missing the Powerball number, was sold at a gas station in eastern San Diego County, the California Lottery announced.
The ticket worth $222,615 was purchased at the 76 gas station at 11936 Campo Road in the East County community of Spring Valley.
The numbers drawn Monday night were 3, 4, 12, 28, 49 and the Powerball number was 25. The jackpot was $8 million. There were no tickets sold with all six numbers.

The drawing was the second since a ticket with all six numbers was sold in the multi-state Powerball lottery. The ticket was sold in Los Angeles and the jackpot was $1.08 billion.
Drawings take place every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. The estimated jackpot is $41 million for Wednesday's drawing.

The odds of matching all five numbers and the Powerball number is 1 in about 292.2 million, according to the Multi-State Lottery Association, which conducts the game. Powerball is played in 45 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and U.S. Virgin Islands.
