Registration Opens for Additional Exploring Craft Beer Course at SDSU

Registration is now open for the six-week Exploring Craft Beer course through SDSU’s College of Extended Studies that takes place Mondays, April 4-May 9, 6-9 pm.

This course, which is part of the spring curriculum in the Professional Certificate in the Business of Craft Beer program, is designed to take students on a journey through the world of craft beer and was added due to popular demand.

Each class will tap into a different area of craft beer. Among the topics to be covered are the history of beer, the craft beer revolution, beer styles, and beer and food pairings. This course serves as a general overview of craft beer and its role in today’s culture, while giving students the foundation for all future courses in the program.

The registration fee is $289. Students must be at least 21 years of age.

SDSU’s College of Extended Studies reaches out to San Diego, the nation, and the world with a wide variety of lifelong learning opportunities, and more than 50 certificate programs for career advancement.
