On 11/17/2021, at about 1820 hours, Deputies responded to a radio call of a shooting that occurred in front of the Albertsons, located at 7090 Broadway, Lemon Grove.

Upon Deputies arrival, they noticed a transient adult male was on the ground and had been shot multiple times. Deputies learned the victim appeared to have been shot from a passing vehicle.

An active duty Marine was in the area and retrieved his "go bag" and provided first aid to victim. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment. The victim is out of surgery and is currently listed in stable condition.

Rancho San Diego Detectives are currently on scene and the investigation is ongoing.
