Woman, 19, Jailed For Allegedly Stabbing Grandma In East County
The elderly victim was taken to a hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries, El Cajon police said.
EL CAJON, CA – A 19-year-old was arrested Wednesday in connection with a stabbing in El Cajon that left her grandmother gravely wounded.
The assault in the 1200 block of North Mollison Avenue was reported shortly before 10:30 a.m., according to police.
Paramedics took the victim, described as elderly, to a hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries, El Cajon Police Department Sgt. Will Guerin said.

After questioning her granddaughter, 19-year-old Elektra Del Sol, detectives arrested her for allegedly carrying out the assault. Del Sol, a resident of El Cajon, was booked into county jail on suspicion of attempted murder, Guerin said.
Police did not disclose a motive for the assault, though the 911 caller who reported it said it occurred during a burglary, according to Guerin.
