Up to $10,000 Horticulture Scholarship Available to California High School Seniors
Acalanes Chapter, DAR, encourages high school seniors planning to major in horticulture to apply by January 31, 2027.

A scholarship of up to $10,000 is available to a graduating California high school senior planning to pursue a college degree in horticulture, and the Acalanes Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), is helping spread the word to local students and families.
The Robert Hunter Swadley Horticulture Scholarship, offered through the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, supports students who plan to major in horticulture at an accredited college or university in the United States. Applicants must be graduating high school seniors, U.S. citizens and California residents, with a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
The scholarship may provide full or partial tuition assistance as well as funding for room and board, books, and educational supplies. The actual award amount, up to $10,000, is determined annually based on income generated by the scholarship fund.
