3 Lamorindans Qualify For U.S. Squad in Synchronized Swimming

Three Lamorindans were among 11 members of the Walnut Creek Aquanuts who qualified for the U.S. Open squad for USA Synchro synchronized swimming.

The final stage of trials were recently held in Walnut Creek.

The Lamorindans are:

• Gillian Brassil, 26, a sophomore at Campolindo High in Moraga. 
  
• Natalie Fletcher, 14, who attends Bentley High in Lafayette.
  
• Daria Torba, 13, an eighth-grader at Orinda Intermediate School.
