5 Vehicle Crash On Highway 24: CHP

LAMORINDA, CA — A five vehicle crash is causing traffic to back up on westbound Highway 24 near the Camino Pablo offramp. Minor injuries are reported by the drivers.

At one point all lanes were blocked. The vehicles are now on the shoulder, but it will take awhile to get everyone towed away. Expect residual slowing.

The wreck was first reported at 5:11 a.m.

The rain is causing treacherous driving conditions. Roadway flooding has been reported in Oakland, San Francisco, San Jose and the North Bay. Allow extra space between vehicles and slow to an appropriate speed.
