60 Day Road Closure Planned In Lamorinda
The road will be closed 6 days a week, 12 hours per day.

LAMORINDA, CA — Plan ahead! St Marys Road will be closed for 60 days while PG&E replaces a gas pipeline. The closure begins this Thursday, June 7. The road will be completely closed to traffic from Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. There will be posted detour signs.
Residents of the Bluffs subdivision off Bollinger Canyon Road and Lafayette neighborhoods within the St Marys Road work limits will have limited access to the area.
PG&E is replacing 6,000 feet of gas transmission pipe along St. Mary's Road from South Lucille Lane in Lafayette to Rheem Boulevard in Moraga.

The plan is to complete the work during the schools' summer recess.

City staff in Lafayette and Moraga hammered out the 60 day closure schedule with PG&E. Originally, the company had planned to finish the project in 100 days.
