LAMORINDA, CA — Mail carriers will begin delivering ballots this week as California voters confront a crowded June 2 statewide primary election that places more than 60 candidates on the gubernatorial roster and sets up key local contests across the region.
One of those contests includes District 10, represented by U.S. Rep. Mark DeSaulnier, who faces a half a dozen challengers for the seat.
DeSaulnier announced today he will host a town hall meeting in Lafayette on Tuesday evening to engage constituents on federal policy debates and pending legislative battles in Washington.
DeSaulnier will meet residents from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., where he plans to discuss House Democratic efforts to challenge President Trump’s actions, address U.S. military involvement in Iran, and examine rising household costs. He will also answer questions during the session.
The event requires advance RSVP and limits attendance due to capacity constraints. Organizers will provide the exact location after registration.
Constituents can reserve a spot through the website desaulnier.house.gov/town-hall-rsvp or by phone at (925) 933-2660.
