2-Alarm Fire In Hillside Golden Triangle Enclave

LAMORINDA, CA — A two-alarm fire was reported in the Golden Triangle neighborhood, just east of the Oakland-Berkeley hills.

Flames broke out during the afternoon at a home on the 2400 block of Whitehall Drive in Orinda.

Firefighters escalated the response with a second alarm at 2:33 p.m. as crews converged on the quiet hillside enclave prized for canyon views and quick access to Highway 24 and the Orinda BART station.
